Tammy Judson was a three sport athlete in High School, where she was elected as captain in all three sports. Recognition for her athletic ability extended beyond her peers as she was named All-State in Gymnastics and All-Conference in Softball. She continued her athletic career playing softball at the University of Saint Joseph. As she grew older she maintained her athletic ability with working out, running races and doing mud runs.  She got her Nursing Degree at St. Francis and has been a pediatric nurse for over 25 years. She has been happily married for 17 years (and counting) and has 5 beautiful children with her husband, Steve. In 2009, Tammy was introduced to CrossFit by a bootcamp instructor and immediately saw drastic improvements in her physical and emotional health. She quickly noticed that it was difficult for other married couples with children to set aside time for their own health and fitness, and she wanted to do something to help families accomplish this. CrossFit Unlimited Potential is Tammy’s outlet for giving back to the community. She has created a family-oriented and child-friendly environment where families can lead healthier, longer lives. Forging Elite Families!

Alex Karkos | CrossFit L2

Alex found CrossFit pretty much like everyone else.  Growing up playing sports such as hockey and soccer, he always had that competitive edge.  After a while of doing the usual gym routine, he needed something else.  In 2011, he did a CrossFit workout for the first time and was hooked.  After a year of doing CrossFit, he decided to get his level 1 certificate, and decided to expand his knowledge an receive his Level 2 certificate in December 2017.  Throughout the years of coaching, he's loved every second of it.  Seeing how hard everyone works day in and day out, makes him push harder as a coach and as an athlete.  He looks forward to continue his CrossFit education and become certified in gymnastics and Olympic weightlifting.  Everyday he enjoys the journey and meeting new people.

Sandi Dauch | CrossFit L1

QUALIFICATIONS

  • CrossFit Level 1

  • Brand X KIDS certified

Growing up Sandi was involved in gymnastics and her high school wrestling team, but she never really took sports or fitness seriously. That all changed for her when she attended a friends and family night at the box (aka CrossFit gym). She was out of shape almost passed out during the warm-up. That night she decided to make some changes. She signed up with CrossFit Unlimited Potential and discovered a passion for being fit and healthy. This has been one of the most positive and rewarding experiences of her life. Now, she wants to help others find that same joy and excitement about being able to do those things they never imagined they were capable of. In a relatively short period of time, and with the help of incredible coaches, she built up her strength and endurance, obtained her level 1 certificate, and now has the privilege to coach at CrossFit Unlimited Potential, her home, where she will continue to push herself to learn, grow, and develop new strengths.

Kami Astorino | CrossFit L1

QUALIFICATIONS

  • CrossFit Level 1

  • CrossFit Kids

Other Certifications

  • Clinical Laboratory Scientist A.S.C.P.

Kami is no stranger to being a competitive athlete.  She was a three sport athlete, captain and All County Goal Keeper in high school.  Her athletic career continued into college where she played soccer as a 4 year starter, served as captain and was named female athlete of the year.

She studied sports medicine and later decided on a career in Biomedical Sciences.  In the years following college she was into working out and playing recreational sports, but it wasn’t the same edge.  She and her husband Aaron started a family and have 2 beautiful kids.  “Life became about being a full-time mom and my body wasn’t in the shape it once had been.”

In 2013 a friend suggested I try Crossfit and I turned it down many times because I had no idea what it was and I was scared.  Then one day I gave in and was hooked.  I’ve been an athlete with Crossfit Unlimited Potential since it opened in 2013.  Crossfit transformed my life and is one of my passions.  I obtained my L1 certification in Dec 2017 and then my Crossfit Kids certification in September 2018.

Crossfit isn’t just a sport to me, it is a way I stay mentally and physically fit.  It has given me that competitive edge back and now I have the privilege of coaching it to all ages.  In the future I plan on continuing my education as a coach by earning my Olympic lifting certification and eventually my L2 certification. I CAN I WILL I MUST!!

Ralph Keleher | CrossFit Level 2

Qualifications

Previously the owner, James Street Crossfit

  • CrossFit L1 trainer

  • CrossFit L2

  • CrossFit Football

Ralph has been involved with team sports and coaching for as long as he can remember. As a hockey player in both high school and college. Ralph loved to push himself to the limits as well as his athletes. He has coached soccer and hockey at the youth and high school levels. He has coached both of his children to several championships as well as teams where he was a non-parent coach. Ralph is as passionate about fitness as he is about the fitness community.
Ralph’s Crossfit story:
“I started working out at CrossFit USA in 2011 after being diagnosed with metabolic syndrome, a condition
that put me at risk for coronary artery disease, stroke, and type 2 diabetes. Simply put, I was overweight
and out of shape. I had tried working out at gyms before, but I always got bored and never felt like I was
getting anywhere. So joined CrossFit and started the paleo diet. Four months (and 40 pounds) later, I was
in better shape than I had been in years and completely committed to this new way of life. I was so
committed, in fact, that I decided to open a CrossFit facility of my own—combining my love of fitness
with my love of coaching. After 6 years and lots of fun, I closed my business but still love coaching. Helping
athletes reach their fitness goals makes me feel like I’m reaching mine all over again.”
