CrossFit Unlimited Potential: 101's COURSE

Safety is paramount around here.

As such, we’ve designed the CF Unlimited Potential 101’s Course to be an educational experience in exercise safety.

Over the duration of this course, we will teach you basic nutritional principles, fine tune your understanding of exercise technique, show you how to warm up and cool down properly, and begin to expose you to our methods of improving mobility and flexibility.

In addition, we will teach you how to properly execute all of the movements we commonly use in our program so that you are familiar with them prior to entering the group classes.

We will also cover the conditioning principles we utilize and abide by to ensure your constant improvement.

Our CrossFit program is quite a bit different than most other gyms.

We utilize traditional strength training protocols within a periodized framework. This allows us to properly teach folks the correct technique for the movements and introduce them to a wide range of exercise stimuli. Anyone who has done both a 1 Rep Max Back Squat AND a 20 Rep Max Back Squat knows that the difficulty is high for both, yet the experience is drastically different. We teach you how to do both in a progressive teaching curriculum.

Our conditioning elements are based off of scientific research into what improves the body’s ability to do work. We expose folks to progressive lactic threshold conditioning, VO2-max conditioning, CNS Recovery rounds, interval-based efforts and longer endurance-based chunks of work.

We offer three different Levels of programming. This allows folks from all over the fitness spectrum to train together and receive effective workouts. You will never be pushed too hard, and your friends here will make sure you don’t take it too easy.

Ages 5-10

CrossFit KIDS at CrossFit Unlimited Potential is not simply a scaled down version of CrossFit. It is entirely absolutely CrossFit geared and designed for a special population and the specific developmental needs of that population. (Neurological, Cognitive, and Motor.)

CrossFit KIDS is a strength and conditioning program that is specifically designed for kids to help them develop a lifelong love of fitness. In a group setting of the same core age group, the KIDS participate in fun and engaging workouts that deliver measurable results and prepare them to be well-rounded athletes.

The movements are functional, in other words, they are fundamental to all things kids need to do when they play.  Things they do almost everyday; run, jump, pull, push, throw, climb & lift.  Our program uses a combination of skill practice, workouts and games to build strength and conditioning in children. Our classes include elements of gymnastics, weight lifting, body weight movements and plyometrics. All movements are taught safely and effectively under the close supervision of thoroughly trained CrossFit KIDS Coaches.

Specifically, our CrossFit KIDS program teaches the 10 General Physical Skills. These skills are the base for any sport or discipline your child may pursue.


Ages 11-17


CrossFit Tweens & Teens is a strength and conditioning program designed for ages 11-17 athlete or non athlete.  We focus on the 10 general physical skills (listed below) to help them not only prosper and excel in their sport or activity of choice but also in their everyday lives.  This growing time allows us as coaches to raise their awareness of their growing bodies and self awareness.  We challenge them physically and mentally through our workouts that change daily to get them to develop or maintain good healthy habits.  Athletes from soccer, swimming, baseball, basketball, football, lacrosse & wrestling teams have trained with us and have seen tremendous growth both on the fields & courts to in the classroom. The soon to be athletes that used to not want to workout or doing anything have now become stronger and faster in their gym classes and are pursuing sports or just have increased their energy level, slept better and done better on school work.  Building a youth that can build the world is our goal!......We still have fun in class!

The 10 General Physical Skills:

  1. Cardiovascular Endurance – Can you get enough oxygen to your body?
  2. Stamina – Can you get enough energy to your muscles?
  3. Strength – How much can you lift?
  4. Flexibility – Can you touch your toes?
  5. Power – How much work can you do in the least time?
  6. Speed – How fast can you go?
  7. Coordination – Can you pat your head and rub your stomach?
  8. Accuracy – Can you kick a soccer ball into the net?
  9. Agility – How quickly can you change direction?
  10. Balance – Can you stand on one foot? With your eyes shut?

In addition to learning new skills, you will notice your child makes better food choices, is more focused in school, transitions to new sports easier and has a reduced risk of sport-related injury.

Our goal is to help children become the best version of themselves possible. The tool we use is physical fitness, but our philosophy is that training CrossFit increases quality of life, both inside and outside the gym. We are committed to teaching children to become successful leaders while promoting the importance of health and fitness for a lifetime in a safe and positive learning environment. Never saying “I can’t” and always willing to TRY!

More importantly, your child will also learn to follow directions, listen, communicate, and play with others. Every class includes game play and positive reinforcement. Your child’s confidence, both physically and mentally, will grow with each class.  As children progress through the program, they will be asked to model movements, lead exercises, and demonstrate an ability to verbally explain exercises while assisting newer, younger students in class.

At CrossFit Unlimited Potential, our CrossFit KIDS program is designed for EVERY child to experience and celebrate progress. Each and every workout varies each class and is scalable to all abilities.  This will benefit the sedentary child as well as the young accomplished athlete.   As you watch your child grow in ability and confidence, they will also learn that hard work results in success.

All of our CrossFit KIDS Coaches are professional trained KIDS Coaches with teaching and coaching special populations. At CrossFit Unlimited Potential we run yearly background checks on our KIDS coaches to ensure that your kids are always in the best care.
